Abstract

None Iranian explorer's itineraries are of the primary Irangraphy sources in which the authors presented valuable information to the Iranian social _cultural history researchers due to different reasons such as external look at Iranian society, western curiosity, etc. Qajar period witnessed a lot of explorers. The situation of security in Iran during Qajar in terms of crime and criminal treatments and also the convict imprisonment, are social _cultural factors which have been considered by itineraries. The present research being written in a descriptive _analytical method based on the itineraries is a respond to this question that how western itineraries in Qajariyeh depict one of the most important security discussions of Iran, that is crime and decrees related to them and the method of trials and convict punishments?
