Abstract

The current structure of the Basij, which utilizes a mechanical pattern, has some advantages, but it has numerous and significant drawbacks that have significantly impacted the activities of this inistitution. One of the disadvantages of this structure can be the dispersion of units on the horizon, inflexsible relationships, distinct tasks and weaknesses in innovation, standardization of activities and disabilities in creativity, centralized decision making system (up to down), The absence of experts in decision making, as well as the lack of interaction among sub-units, which caused inefficiency and Lack of effectiveness. This research want to examine the achievements of an empirical research and practical research (research activity) in applying an Organic Structures in the Basij, and to report its effects, in this way. Studies of this research (including design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting), which took 3 years, indicate positive effects in efficiency and effectiveness. The results of this research provide a model for utilizing such structures in other basijs center.
