Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of cross-curricular courses in Crime Prevention. The research method is inherently quasi-experimental in nature and purposeful in applied research. The statistical population of the study included all police personnel in Hamadan Province who were selected by available sampling method, two groups of 20 people as the experimental group and the control group from the research community. In order to collect information from two researcher-made questionnaires in the form of lesson questions, four options were set for employees and distributed between the two distribution groups, and after collecting and separating the data, it was analyzed through SPSS software. Content validity was used to determine the validity of the instrument in this study. The reliability of this tool has also been calculated using Cronbach's alpha, which was estimated to be 0. 86. In descriptive analysis, the scores of the cross-sectional tests of the samples in the experimental group of the mean pre-test and post-test scores were only 0. 1 and in the control group the difference was 0. 2 and in the professional ethics lesson, the difference between the mean scores was zero. Also, the scores of disciplinary plans and post-test management and leadership lessons showed a significant difference with their pre-test members, so that this difference is 0. 7 on average in both courses and in general the total score of post-test members of the experimental sample with pre-test. They show a significant difference, with an average score of 2. 1. Therefore, all components, except the component of professional ethics, have an effect on Crime Prevention.
