Title

Use of Drones in Extraterritorial Era in the Perspective of International Law

Pages

  89-115

Abstract

The international community has seen a significant increase in Drones in the recent past and their application in the trans-terrestrial area. These technological devices have moved beyond the bounds of peace and have actually entered the realm of war. Depending on their use in the international community, Drones are contemplated from three fundamental areas of international public law: international human rights, International law The use of force and international humanitarian law. While the third area is more concerned with this, it is not exaggerated to speak of the impoverishment of specialized Persian literature of International law in the aforementioned dimensions. This article is intended to provide a comprehensive overview of the use of Drones. Overall, Drones should not be considered as a wicked phenomenon; the fact is that these technological tools, like any other human-made device, can step in the direction of international peace and security. However, the use of Drones to date, especially by the US, Canada and the Zionist occupation regime, suggests that these tools are seen as infringing rather than contributing to international peace and security.
