Abstract

GOSSYPIBOMA although rare (gossypiwn: Cotton, Boma: place of concealment) and it is an under-reported condition, but there are reports in the literature from all the surgical subspecialties. This complication that can easily disgrace the surgeon's profession and threaten the patient's health, fortunately is preventable if surgeons remain cautious about it. In this report, a case of GOSSYPIBOMA is described, the symptoms of which appeared several years after the surgery.
