Abstract

The present study has been implemented with the aim of providing structural model for creative problem solving for Managers based on Decision Making which is mediated by Creativity in Tehran province Islamic Azad universities Managers. The research is applied, exploratory and correlational. The statistical population of the research includes all Managers of Tehran province Islamic Azad universities during the academic year 1397-1398 with the volume of 1300 persons out of which and by cluster random sampling and using Krejcie and Morgan table, 297 Managers were selected. To collect data, the following questionnaires were used: Basadr creative problem solving questionnaire (1995), Scott & Bruce Decision Making questionnaire (1995), Torrance Creativity questionnaire (1979). Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. The results showed that Decision Making predicts significantly the creative problem solving among Islamic Azad universities Managers. Creativity predicts significantly creative problem solving among the Managers, and Creativity mediates the relationship between Decision Making and creative problem solving among the Managers
