Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the occurrence of three long tern effects, ectopic pregnancy (EP), placenta previa (PP), and abruptio placenta (AP) in subsequent pregnancy.A retrospective case control was based on two Esfahan Register Hospital. 812 case groups (prerious cesarean section) and 812 control groups (history of one vaginal delivery). Included criteria, all the pregnant women with gestational age 28 weeks and parity≥2 and sampling was simple and all data was collected by questionnaires and analysis be EPI-6 and chi-square yates corrected. Mean age was in case 26.9±4.4 years and in control 27.8±5.4 years EP was 0.2% in case (0.1% in control), PP was 3.1% in case (0.7% in control) P value is significant (P<0.05) and AP 2.6% in case (7.1% in control) (P<0.05).Cesarean section is important risk factors for pp but modest risk for EP and no risk for AP.
