Abstract

Objective: To assess the efficacy of TEACHING PRACTICAL SKILLS to medical students in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Medical School and to present the result to the educational decision makers in order to improve the quality of teaching.Materials & Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study performed through a questionnaire. Results: We received a total of 95 answered questionnaires from the students. According to the results, a great majority of the students have expressed the university's curriculum for Practical skills is not satisfactory.Discussion: The study indicates that the practical qualities of the students are far from acceptable condition and the students have not learned the required skills well and under supervision. This is an important indication that must be of great concern to the educational decision markers.
