Abstract

Introduction: Intrapulmonary TERATOMA is a very rare disease. Intra – thoracic TERATOMA almost always occur in the mediastinum. Clinical manifestations of intrapulmonary TERATOMA are non- specific. We reported a 16 year old boy who has vague right hemi-thorax pain with no constitutional symptoms. On physical examination, breath- sounds in middle–zone of right LUNG were diminished, and there was not another abnormal finding. Routine Laboratory tests were normal.Conclusion: Chest radiography and LUNG CT scan showed round mass lesion in the right middle lobe. THORACOTOMY was done. The pathologic diagnosis showed adult cystic intrapulmonary TERATOMA.
