Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the position of scapula and the endurarzce of shoulder girdle muscles. The statistical sample includes 50 healthy 11 - year - old male students selected non-randomly. They were divided into two groups. The first group had excessive scapula retraction (N: 25, height: 144.32±4.58, weight: 39.24±6.32). The second group had excessive protraction (N: 25, height: 145.78±3.91), weight: 41.44±4.75). Their endurance and weakness of the shoulder girdle muscles were measured using modified pull-up (AAHPERD) and Kiblers Lateral Scapula Slide Test (LSST). The data were subjected to analysis of correlation and t - student test by spss software (version 11).
