Abstract

Occupational cutaneous (e.g.: allergic contact dermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis and infections) can cause significant morbidity in textile industry workers. This study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of cutaneous lesions among a group selected textile Factories workers in the YAZD PROVINCE. A standard questionnaire on cutaneous lesions was administered. The results were obtained as follow: Pityriasis versicolor 32 (21.3%), candidiasis 7 (4.7%) , erythrasma 4(2.7%). Bacterial infections (S.aureus) " 8(5.3%) and other superficial cutaneous lesions 99(66%).
