Abstract

Language is translation of wisdom of the human and a means of transferring thoughts and experience. Each thought for its emergence needs language, but at the same time any experience and thought needs a specific language. Each social group uses different a language in order to express their ideas and thoughts. The language of science differs from the language of industry. The same goes for the language of geometry and medicine. MYSTICs also require specific language to express their thoughts and experience. This language is called the "MYSTIC LANGUAGE". It recreates with the help of words original thoughts and includes a "phrase language" and a "gesture language". The PHRASE LANGUAGE transfers inner thoughts to the outside world. It is used to teach MYSTIC concepts. In Masnavi, mostly this kind of language is used. It is also true in the case of some other MYSTIC didactic poems such as Sanayi's Hadighatol Haghighah, Attar's Masnavies and Molavi's Masnavi.The GESTURE LANGUAGE is a specific language for expressing knowledge and reality which are not expressed simply. No language whatever its completion be, can transfer the MYSTIC perception which is the result of personal experience. The GESTURE LANGUAGE expresses them in the form of idioms and symbols.
