Abstract

Introduction: Based on some reports about differences between CALCANEUS of foreigns males and females, in this research DIMENSIONS and angles of Iranian males and females CALCANEUS were studies by radiographic cliches and were compared statistically.Materials & Methods: the research was based on descriptive design. Lateral standard radiographic chliches of 39 Iranian females and 51 Iranian males of right FOOT who come to the orthopedic clinic and department of Ayatolah Taleghani hospital, Tehran, Iran, in the years 1378 and 1379 were studied length and maximum and minimum height of CALCANEUS and frontal and tuber frontal angle were recorded by ruler and statistical features of the above mentioned variables were extracted and data of males and females were compared statistically by student t.test method.Results: results showed there were significant differences between 3 DIMENSIONS of Iranian males and females CALCANEUS (P<0.001).
