Abstract

HEADLICE infestation is dengery To the social health ,particularly to the man inhibited centers with low individual health. condition. In order to determine a part of variables effective on PREVALENCE of head lice in festation among the PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS.of llam city ,a study was performed on 658 cases,in 97-98. Questionaires and manual magnifying-glasses were used to determine the intestation racte among the cases .the findings implied that 5-5% to the studied population were in ffected with headlice,6.5% Z the inpestation went for the test fisher showed between variable boys and 4.5% for the girls fisher and tests were used to determine the impaction between infection rete - and variables such as sex,parent"s literacy ,mothers, jobs,family extension and enjoying bath-rooms at home. A significant relation was proved to exist between the lice -infection and all the varibles(p=0).the results showed that head-lice infestation among the students in ilam is less prevalent than any other studied parts of the country .
