Abstract

 Odontogenic infection are the common disease of human beings and is the greatest cause of loosing teeth.This research is based on streptococus Gram positive that is the main cause of DENTAL ABSCESS.This study is estathistical analytic which has been observed on 365 patients which referred with odontogenic infections to the Esfahan clinics for observation, sampling, culture and antibiogram resulting:1) The main group of coccies of odontogenic infection were a hemolytic streptococus.2) The most infective drug on a hemolytic streptococus was penicillin.3) The most involvement space was buccal moucosa of the mandible. Gram positive streptococus are the important factors of DENTAL ABSCESS and the first choice drugs are penicillin and the tetracyclin.
