Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the relationship between SELF-EFFICACY and DEPRESSION, anxiety and stress amongst junior high school students of Tehran City; thus, 376 individuals (188 females and 188 males) were selected using random stage sampling and were tested with regard to SELF-EFFICACY, DEPRESSION, anxiety and stress. The acquired results revealed that SELF-EFFICACY could predict 27% of the total scores of variance, 20% of the DEPRESSION variance, 15% of the anxiety variance and 19% of the stress variance.
