Abstract

Introduction: There has beenviolence against females since a longtime ago in different communitiesirrespective of social status, religionand race. Street harassment is a formof violence against females bystrangers outside of the family inpublic places. It is one of the obviousaspects of sexual harassment in thepublic in which WOMEN are sexuallyhumiliated. This type of violence leadsto various negative consequences forboth victim WOMEN (such asincreasing physical and mentaldisorders) and society (deprivation ofwomen’ s aptitudes and capabilities). Regarding to the fact that most ofresearches in this field haveinvestigated on the domestic violencewhich implemented by males(husbands) the street harassment hasbeen neglected. In spite of the slumpof the academic circle in the pastdecades, street harassment has beenhighly considered in recent years. ...
