Abstract

Introduction: It is often assumed thatafter child PLACEMENT in an adoptivefamily, the adoptive parents and theADOPTEEs will take an easy and happypassage throughout their life. But inreality they experience several differentstresses that can lead to the failure in theadoption process for adoptive parents. This is an unpleasant occurrence forboth the adoptive parents and theADOPTEEs, which occasionally instigatesthe DISRUPTION of this relationship andmultiple separation experience for thechild. With increasing the rate ofadoption and adoptive families in Iran(1000 adoptive families per year andmore than 30000 adoptive families); theinterest in recognition of adoptivefamilies, related challenges and requiredsupport and services has grown.
