Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the AWARENESS of ADULT (age> 15 yrs) residents of the city of Yazd, about vaccinations in ADULTs.Materials and Methods: To determine the AWARENESS of ADULTs in the city of Yazd .As mentional above, this is a cross sectional descriptive study. Four-hundred randomly selected ADULTs from twenty clusters represent the city of Yazd.Result: The best AWARENESS was related to the age group of 25 -34 yrs. As a whole AWARENESS was better in females compared to males, but good AWARENESS was greater in females relative to males. In relation to different occupations the great AWARENESS was in government employee. In regard to qualifications the best AWARENESS was in the group with university degrees. And most AWARENESS was about diphtheria tetanus toxoid VACCINE.
