Abstract

Objective: Endothelial damage, cellular hypoxia, and trauma to the red cells may be main factors to cause preeclampsia.LDH level rises due to these changes and is significant from the beginning. The aim of this study is to evaluated LDH level and the severity of disorder.Materials and Methods: We randomly selected three 30 patients groups of third pregnant women. Groups one with normal blood pressure, group two with mild preeclampsia and group three severe preeclampsia and or eclampsia. Special forms containing some information and also LDH titer were completed for each.The findings were evaluated and compared, when there was P<0.05, the difference was known significant.Results: Mean LDH level (U/L) in the first group was 341.9, in the second was 549.1, and in the third was 768.2. The differences were statistically significant P<0.0001.Conclusion: LDH titer is a significant and important change from the primary phase of pregnancy complicated by hypertension.
