Abstract

This is a descriptive- analytical sectional research to survey the maternal breast feeding function method on breast feeding.All mothers referring to urbon health centers during two weeks were asked by a 35 items questionnaire that was planned in accordance with the research goals to collect the data. The results showed that 64.5% of the mothers had not stopped breast feeding and 80.3% of the infants had only breast feeding until the age of 6 months. 81.2% of infants were using breast' feeding and 8.1%formula and 10.7% used animal fresh milk. 82.9% of the wives had a positive - view on milk feeding and 6.8% had a negative view and 10.3% had no idea on stopping milk feeding.
