Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this study was to study the relation between the quality of life and self-efficiency with the variables of mental health among students. This was a correlational study. All Azad University students in Rudehen campus that consisted of a sample size of 150 individuals were identified and included in the research through cluster sampling. Data were collected using World Health Organization’ s short-form evaluation of Life quality questionnaire, Schwartz and Jerusalem (1979) general self-efficiency questionnaire, and Goldenberg (1972) general health questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson correlation test, using SPSS-22. Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between quality of life and self-efficacy (F≤ p<0. 1). Therefore, by enhancing students’ quality of life and self-efficacy, the variables of their mental health will also increase.
