Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the Correlation adaptation to college and SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE in UNIVERSITY STUDENTS. Another aim was to examine discriminatory power of sychological hardiness. 345 (195 female and 155 male) subjucts were selected randomly from Uromia UNIVERSITY STUDENTS. The Student Adaptation to college questionnaire (SACQ), and EQ-I. For analyzing the data hierarchical regression (step by step) were used. The rusults showed that SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE could adaptation to college and its components. In addition, PSYCHOLOGICAL HARDINESS variable could anticipate meaningfully academic, social, personal-emotional adaptation.
