Abstract

This study has been done to investigate the correlation between DIFFERENTIATION OF SELF and MARITAL SATISFACTION of Tarbiat Moallem University employees.The population consists of Tarbiat Moallem University employees with at least 5 years of marriage and one child. Total population of employees was 130 persons. We have used simple random sampling. Samples were 40 couples. Enrich MARITAL SATISFACTION Inventory consists of 47 item, and DIFFERENTIATION OF SELF inventory of 46 items were conducted. Descriptive statistics such as frequency mean variance and inference statistics were used to investigate correlation (multiple regressions). The result revealed significance correlation (p< 0.01) between DIFFERENTIATION OF SELF, its subscales: (Emotional reactivity, I-position, emotional cut off and fusion with other), with MARITAL SATISFACTION.
