Abstract

The aim of the paper is study of the ways of developing of NON-OIL EXPORT of MAZANDARAN PROVINCE with considering all internal conditions and target market’s situations. So in this paper primarily the advantageous exportable goods were recognized using the revealed comparative advantage (RCA) index. Then the target markets were studied. Afterwards the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats about these goods were investigated with SWOT technique and suitable strategies for Mazandaran NON-OIL EXPORT development were compiled. Results of this study showed that Agricultural and Industrial sectors had greater RCA scores and had a comparative advantage. In agricultural sector, flower & herbs and citrous and Kivi items had a comparative advantages. Inspecting with SWOT technique the strategy of market development was adopted for flower & herb and citrous items and the strategy of market-penetration for Kivi. Paper ends with discussion and suggestions.
