Abstract

Economic history shows that in development process, textile industries have had a definite role. Most of the countries began their development by this industry. Textile industry in Iran has a long history. today it is one ot the most important economic sector especially form the employment point of view. In present time, incresaing employment (decreasing unemployment rate) and the income of non oil export are the most important economic goals of the Iraninan authorities. This paper aims to investigate the present situation or the Irans"s textile industry in 1357-1377. By using the existing eeonometrics method, The elfects or fiscal and monetary policies on the textile industry will be estimated. Then on the basis of the quantitative results, Policy recommendation will be presented.
