Abstract

This essay discusses TECHNOPHOBIA phenomenon and its socio-cultural aspects. In the first stage, thisphenomenon’s hitory is studied and its effects on art, philosophy and social thoughts are reviewed. In the next stage, TECHNOPHOBIA in Iranian intellectual history is studied. At the last stage, technophobic dimensions in TECHNOLOGICAL POLICY making is evaluated.
