Abstract

One of the indicated cases in human behavior is the recognition of traits in structured behavior. With analyzing behavioral patterns into some traits series we can recognize individual behavior. We can conclude from the results of this study on the behavior traits toward individual SUCCESS. Managers’ SUCCESS may be due to their management style, their Job method coordination or their individual CHARACTERISTICs. If it is recognized SUCCESSful manager CHARACTERISTICs, it will be possible to describe the SUCCESSful pattern in society and it will be specified certain traits which are resulted in desirable behaviors in organization.This study is used correlation method. The statistical population was consisted of 68 top managers in Kerman public organizations. To collect data 3 questionnaires were used: PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICs, MOTIVATION CHARACTERISTICs and managers’ SUCCESS.The findings of this study showed that there are positive and meaningful relationships between PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICs of managers such as innovation, supervisory ability, self confidence, decisiveness and maturity with their assessment of the SUCCESSful criterion. There are not any meaningful relationships between PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICs of managers such as intelligence, affiliation to personal and humane with their assessment of the SUCCESSful criterion. Also there are positive and meaningful relationships between MOTIVATIONal CHARACTERISTICs of managers such as need for Job achievement need for self –actualization with their assessment of the SUCCESSful criterion. There aren't any meaningful relationship between MOTIVATIONal CHARACTERISTICs of managers such as need for power, need for bonus and need for job –security with their assessment of the SUCCESSful criterion. The managers who have a positive assessment of their SUCCESS have the marked PERSONALITY and MOTIVATIONal CHARACTERISTICs that they do specified desirable behaviors in organizations. The results of these behaviors lead to SUCCESS.
