Abstract

 INCREASING AND DEVELOPING OF HUMAN SOCIETIES IS PARALLED WITH ENERGY PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION. IN BASE OF HANDY CENSUS, ALONG 30 YEARS AGO, DISPOSAL OF ENERGY WERE INCRISING. AT PRESENT EXPENSING OF ENERGY IS 10 GTOE/YR AND FORCASTING THAT, GROWING TO 14 GTOE/YR UNTILL 2020. IN THIS POSITION, ONE QUESTION IS DISCUSSED. ARE RESOURCES OF FOSSIL FUEL ADEQUATE FOR TERRICOLOUSES? IN THE OTHER HAND, GLOBAL WARMING IS WORLDWIDE PROBLEM AND FOR BATTELING WITH THIS CHALLENGE USING OF NEW AND CLEAN ENERGY ARE SUGGESTED.THE ISSUE OF GLOBAL WARMING IS BECOMING A GREAT CHALLENGE WHICH THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY MUST FACE IN THIS CENTURY. THE LATEST REPORT OF THE IPCC (INTERGOVERNMENTAL PANEL ON CLIMATE CHANGE) INDICATED THAT DEVELOPMENT HEAVILY RELYING ON FOSSIL FUEL ENERGIES WILL RAISE GLOBAL MEAN TEMPERATURES BY ABOUT 4.5 1C DURING THE 21ST CENTURY. ONLY WITH A TRANSITION TOWARD A LOWRESOURCE- CONSUMING ECONOMY AND THE USE OF CLEAN ENERGY SOURCES AND TECHNOLOGIES WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO MITIGATE TEMPERATURE INCREASES TO ABOUT 2 1C. SOLAR ENERGY IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT IN CLEAN ENERGY. WITH GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) AND REMOTE SENSING BASED ANALYSES, MULTIFARIOUS RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES WERE EVALUATED ACCORDING TO ACTUAL LOCAL LAND USES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE MOREINTEGRATED AND ACCURATE DECISION-MAKING INFORMATION FOR POLICYMAKERS AND INVESTORS.
