Abstract

 THE CRACK ANALYSIS IS DONE BY FRACTURE MECHANICS AND DEFINED WITH STRESS INTENSITY FACTOR (KC) THAT IS DETERMINANT OF MATERIAL STRENGTH IN CRACK GROWTH. THIS STUDY INVESTIGATES BONE INJURIES SIMULATED WITH MODELING OF LEFT FEMUR HUMAN BONE AND ALLOCATION OF CANCELLOUS AND CORTICAL PARTS AND ANALYZED BY FINITE ELEMENT WITH ANSYS SOFTWARE. VULNERABLE POINTS IN UNCONTROLLED STRESS ARE INDICATED BY DAMAGE ANALYSIS IN FEMUR AND ANALYSIS OF PATHOLOGIC FRACTURE. THEN INFLUENCE OF GEOMETRY BONE ON STRESS INTENSITY FACTOR ANALYZED WITH SIMULATION OF SURFACE CRACK, AND TREND OF STRESS INTENSITY FACTOR VARIETIES ANALYZED BY INFLUENCE OF MECHANICAL AND GEOMETRICAL VARIABLES OF BONE AND CRACK GEOMETRY.
