Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: ONE OF THE BIGGEST THREATS TO THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE EARTH IS GLOBAL WARMING. GLOBAL WARMING OR THE WARMING OF THE EARTH IS A PHENOMENON THAT HAS LED TO THE GENERAL INCREASE IN THE TEMPERATURE OF THIS PLANET AND ITS OCEANS. SEVERAL HUMAN AND NATURAL FACTORS ARE EFFECTIVE ON THE TEMPERATURE CHANGES, SUCH AS THE SUN’S ELEVEN-YEAR CYCLE, MINOR CHANGES OF THE EARTH’S ORBIT, THE NATURAL GREENHOUSE EFFECT OR ABSORPTION OF INCOMING RAYS OF SUN BY CLOUDS, PARTICLES, OZONE AND OTHER NATURAL GASES LIKE WATER STEAM, CARBON DIOXIDE, NITROGEN OXIDES, VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS AND NATURAL METEOROLOGICAL ALTERATIONS.
