Abstract

Background: BREAST CANCER is the most common cancer among WOMEN in the various aspects of individual health, psychological and quality of life and SEXUAL FUNCTION to endanger. The aim of this study was to evaluate SEXUAL FUNCTION and MENTAL HEALTH of WOMEN with BREAST CANCER.Materials and methods: This study was a cross - sectional study is cross-sectional. The sample size of 104 WOMEN with BREAST CANCER referred to the MRI center of the city of Hamedan in 1394. To gather the data included demographic questionnaire, General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) and SEXUAL FUNCTION questionnaire (FSFI) was. Data analysis using SPSS software version 21, and descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation test was used.Results: The mean age of WOMEN, 50.02±12.07 years. Given the cut-off point, 81.6 percent (n=84) had MENTAL HEALTH problems and 85.8 percent (89) were men with sexual dysfunction. Based on the average listed highest prevalence of pain during intercourse and sexual desire was the lowest. Based on Pearson correlation between all dimensions of SEXUAL FUNCTION and general health of the place and there was a significant relationshipConclusion: Regarding the relationship between SEXUAL FUNCTION and MENTAL HEALTH, SEXUAL FUNCTION in these patients is necessary status and the type of changes are discussed and advice on how to problems with the patient and his wife, and emotions to be done.
