Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the study of virtual education on learning and social skills of undergraduate students of Tehran Science and Research Branch. The research method was quasi-experimental. The statistical population of the study includes female undergraduate students of Tehran Science and Research Branch. The number of them is about 400. In this study, due to the adequacy of the population, the sample size is 50 people and the sampling method is census. The experimental group was in virtual classes for one month in 4 sessions of 90 minutes, while the control group followed their daily schedule and did not receive any educational intervention. It was performed on both groups. Data analysis showed that participation in virtual education class had a significant effect on improving students' learning. These results show that virtual education has a positive and significant effect on social skills in the dimensions of: cooperation, assertiveness, self-control and empathy.
