Abstract

purpose: L-Arginine has three functions: dilation of heart vessels, stimulation of growth hormone production, production and transport of nitric oxide. The main function of Lcarnitine is to help the body produce energy and play an essential role in muscle movement, normal brain and heart function. Therefore, this study tries to perform L-Carnitine and LArginine supplementation according to the special test of football referees and to examine the effect of these two supplements on this individual performance. Methods: The training protocol of all groups is fixed and four days a week, the subjects warm up for the first 5 minutes, then do 40 repetitions, each of which is a 75-meter 20-second run with 25 meters of active 25-second rest. And the second exercise with a distance of ten minutes from the first exercise is ten repetitions, the maximum speed is 60 meters. And then the post-test is done in the same way. Results: L-Carnitine and L-Arginine groups had a significant effect on Maximum Oxygen Consumption compared to the control group (p≤ 0. 05) and in the L-Carnitine group Blood Lactate was significantly reduced compared to the control group (p≤ 0. 05) but in the Larginine group No significant effect was observed (p≥ 0. 05) Conclusion: L-Carnitine and L-Arginine supplements have a significant and positive effect on Maximum Oxygen Consumption and L-Carnitine has a reducing and significant effect on Blood Lactate, but L-Arginine has no significant effect on lactate.
