Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between Socio-economic status and the level of knowledge and awareness of citizenship rights in five areas of civil, political, socio-economic, gender and cultural rights among students of Dezful universities in the academic year of 2018-2019. The research method was survey and using Krejcie and Morgan table, the sample size of 400 people was determined. The sampling method was random quota and a questionnaire was used to collect data. In addition to descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation coefficient, t-test, analysis of variance, multivariate regression and path analysis were performed using SPSS software. The results show that there is a significant relationship between Socio-economic status and knowledge of citizenship rights. Among them, the level of Education and gender had the greatest impact and there was no significant relationship between age, employment status and income with the level of awareness of citizenship rights.
