Abstract

 Background and Aim: Women, half of the human resources in societies, are considered as effective elements in advancing the goals of society. Studies show that women are more vulnerable to poverty and discrimination than men. homeless women face excessive social responsibility, unfamiliarity with certain social skills and lack of access to resources, as well as the loss of a network of relationships exposed to a variety of social and psychological harms, resulting in reduced sense of security. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of focal analysis of the relationship between resilience and psychosocial security based on the dimensions of social support among women in headless families. Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of nature and method. The statistical population of the study was all women covered by the welfare of East Azerbaijan province, which is 3000 people, according to Krejcie and Morgan table, 345 people were randomly selected. The research instruments included Zare and Aminpour (2011) psychological security questionnaires, Zimet et al. (1998) perceived social support, and Connor and Davidson (2003) resilience. Data were analyzed using canonical correlation test. Results: The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the dimensions of social support and the components of resilience and the components of psychological security of homeless women p <0. 05. The results also showed that the variables of resilience with coefficients (24. 4) and psychological security with coefficients (22. 5) can be predicted through the variable of social support dimensions. Conclusion: The dimensions of social support have affected the resilience and psychological security of women in the family. According to the research findings, it can be said that the responsible institutions should provide the conditions for free psychological interventions with appropriate economic, educational and cultural support for these families so that homeless women have a positive assessment in understanding their social status and have favorable conditions in terms of security.
