Abstract

Background and Purpose: Social security is one of the necessities of human life and the existence of law enforcement companies in the work and life environment can affect the creation of security. The main purpose is to investigate the role of law enforcement companies in the sense of social security of the citizens of Golestan province. For this purpose, the theories of Inglehart, Zetomka and Putnam were used as a theoretical framework. Methodology: The research method is survey and the sampling method is cluster random. The number of statistical population is equal to 53580 people and the sample size according to Cochran's formula is 358 people. Data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire. Data analysis method is Pearson correlation coefficient and SPSS regression analysis. The questionnaire has face validity and Cronbach's alpha coefficient (reliability) for the social security sense variable is 0. 890, which is high and has the necessary harmonization. Findings: The findings show that the average feeling of social security is slightly above average and is equal to 3. 15 out of 5. The majority of people (57. 3%) believe that the establishment of neighborhood-based police has been successful in establishing order and security in the residence or workplace. There is a significant positive and direct relationship between the variables of trust in law enforcement companies, satisfaction with companies and the sense of social security. About 33% of the changes in the sense of social security were explained by these variables and the highest impact belonged to trust in companies and satisfaction with the services of companies, respectively. Conclusion: The result is that factors such as trust and satisfaction with companies can play a role in increasing the sense of social security in Golestan province and the presence of law enforcement companies in the workplace or residence is mandatory.
