Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to compare the managers' performance in girls' GOVERNMENT HIGH SCHOOLs and GOVERNMENT HIGH SCHOOL/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">NON-GOVERNMENT HIGH SCHOOLs in the city of Tehran. In order to study some main differences among the management of government and nongovernment high schools in Tehran, educational zones of 8 and 13 were selected. Then a questionnaire of 22 multiple-choice items was administered to the parents of the high school girls. The total number of received questionnaires was 305. Using t test formula, the following results were obtained: 1) there is a significant difference between these schools in regard with encouraging students to participate in the school activities, using suitable equipments in schools, the quality of managing schools, and HUMAN RELATIONS; 2) there was not a significant difference regarding the charactristics of the principals, the school environment, as well as the principals’ SUPERVISION over the schools and the students.
