Abstract

This study aimed at determining the relationship between managers' PSYCHOLOGICAL PRESSURES and their EFFECTIVENESS in girls' junior high schools in Tehran city. The statistical population consisted of administrators and teachers in the19 zones of Tehran. The research sample was selected through simple random sampling as well as multi-stage method. In this research, Pearson's correlation coefficient was applied in order to analyze the data. The sample consisted of 97 female managers and 291 female teachers. The research tools were two questionnaires of PSYCHOLOGICAL PRESSURES and EFFECTIVENESS. The results showed that there is a significant and reverse relationship between PSYCHOLOGICAL PRESSURES and the EFFECTIVENESS of managers. It also revealed that the more the PSYCHOLOGICAL PRESSURES are the internal/external organizational elements, the less the EFFECTIVENESS will be. There was also a significant and positire relationship between PSYCHOLOGICAL PRESSURES and the interior/exterior organizational elements and sub elements.
