Abstract

 The aim of this research was to study the effect of Molana's anecdotes on the degree of ADOLESCENTS' philosophical probing skill in grade three of junior high schools in the city of Tonekabon. The research population consisted of all 1686 students in grade three, junior high schools in the academic year of 1388-89. The research sample consisted of 50 students who were chosen multi-stage random sampling. The instrument of the study was a researcher made questionnaire with 36 items examining the philosophical probing skill and its dimensions (i.e., change, doubt, exploration, and complexity). The data were analyzed through applying Mancova method. The findings showed that Molana's anecdotes are effective in promoting the degree of philosophical probing skill as well as in its dimensions, that is, doubt, exploration, complexity, and change.
