Abstract

The purpose of the present research was the study of the resources needed to strengthen the role of the UNIVERSITY in INNOVATION SYSTEM/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank"> NATIONAL INNOVATION SYSTEM from the professors’ viewpoints in Semnan UNIVERSITY. A UNIVERSITY in association with other components of INNOVATION SYSTEM/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank"> NATIONAL INNOVATION SYSTEM, i.e., industry and government needs resources such as: Government’s big policy-making, cultural, economic, technological, and scientific resources. Using the literature review, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to gather the data descriptively in 2011 among 231 faculty members of Semnan UNIVERSITY of whom 145 subjects were randomly selected as research sample. The collected data were analyzed by using T-test statistical procedure. Based on the resources priorities, the options were:1- economic 2- technological 3- scientific 4– government’s big policy-making, and 5- cultural.
