Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to compare the resilience and responsibility of juvenile offenders in Tehran. Methods: The research method in this research is comparative Ali and the type of applied research. The statistical population of the study is delinquent and non-delinquent adolescents in Tehran (age range of 14 to 17 years). In this research, one of the centers for the upkeep of juvenile delinquents in Tehran was selected as the Rehabilitation Center of Tehran's Rehabilitation Center through sampling available to 85 offenders. The sample size was obtained by using Cochran formula for both non-delinquent perpetrators of a group of 70, of which 140 were in total. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used by SPSS software. Result: The results of the U-Mann-Whitney test showed that the level of resilience and responsibility among juvenile offenders is different. In other words, the average resilience outcomes show that delinquent adolescents have higher levels of resilience than non-delinquent adolescents. Conclusion: The average results of the delinquent adolescents' responsibility were lower than non-decent adolescents, thus it can be inferred that juvenile offenders are more responsible.
