Abstract: 

Objective: The main purpose of this research is to identify the individual competencies of scientific authority among university professors. Methodology: This research is practical based on the purpose and based on the nature of the method, it is a qualitative research that was conducted with an exploratory approach. The statistical population of this research is made up of academic professors. 14 people were selected for the research sample using the purposeful sampling method. The main tool for data collection is semi-structured interviews. To check the reliability of the interviews, the method of triangulation and reliability between two coders was used, and the theme analysis technique was used to analyze the data. Results: The results show that a total of 46 basic themes were identified. 46 basic themes were categorized into 12 organizing themes and 12 organizing themes were also categorized into 5 overarching themes. Conclusion: In other words, the individual competencies of academic authority of university professors are: constructive organizational temperament, teaching quality, professional competence, culture-oriented and cultural stability and movement towards sustainable development.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to examine the interpersonal communication competencies (ICC) in the organization and identification of its components as well as determine the quality of interaction between them. This research is an applied and developmental as well as analitical and quantitative and the use of interpretive structural modeling method. The statistical population of the research in the analytical section is a group of academic experts and in the quantitative section is all personals of North Khorasan Governmental Executive Agencies; that 17 peoples ofexperts by using snowball sampling and 373 peoples of personals by using Stratified random sampling were selected as statistical sample. The data collection tools in the analytical section were a researcher made matrix table and in the quantitative section were standard questionnaires that were distributed among the statistical sample after determining their validity and reliability. The results in the analytical section showed important components of ICC were Empathy, Altercentrism, Self disclosure, Conflict Management, Interaction management, Supportiveness, Flexibility, assertiveness, Social Relaxation, Expressiveness, Immediacy, influencing others and goal orientation that at five different levels of interaction have a positive and significant relationship with together. This Results can help managers and employees to Identifying and strengthening their ICC for achieve effective organizational communications.

Abstract: 

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usefulness of personality traits, namely the Big Five, as a means of selection in good police officers. Design/Methodology/Approach - The current study examines a sample of 96 police officers from eight non-urban police departments. Findings - Age and attitude were found to be better predictors of job performance measures than were personality traits. A cynical work attitude was negatively related to ratings of job performance. Officer age was found to have a non-linear relationship to job performance. Research Limiiations/Implications - Difficulties in measuring police performance are discussed, as is the relative importance of individual officer personality versus organizational culture. Originality/Value- The study extends the research on police officer selection and issues of job performance and measurement.

Abstract: 

In the recent years, the widespread interest in the relationship between emotional intelligence and performance has led to the development of a substantial body of literature. In spite of this ongoing attention, the subject of emotional intelligence and performance is still in a contradictory and controversial phase. Thus, a need remains for the development and testing of hypotheses relating the different dimensions of the emotional intelligence to performance. The goal of this research was to extend prior work on individual competencies and performance and investigate the possible relationship between academic staff members’ competencies (self awareness and self management) and their educational performance and to determine the role of their working life quality as an intervening variable. The results based on 930 questionnaire responses collected from 72 universities in a field study indicate that the extent of educational performance is positively and significantly associated with their self awareness and self management. Besides, the quality of the university working life interferes with the relationship between these variables.

Abstract: 

Introduction: A lack of sense of belonging to the university among students may contribute significantly to educational underachievement and adaptation challenges within higher education institutions. However, little is known about the antecedents of students' sense of belonging. This study aimed to determine the role of autonomy, competence, communication and individual interest in predicting students' sense of belonging to the university. Methods: This study employed a descriptive-correlational design. The research sample comprised all undergraduate students at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad during the first semester of the 2008-2019 academic year. A total of 450 students were chosen through stratified random sampling. Data were gathered using questionnaires on The Basic Needs Satisfaction in General Scale, Individual Interest, and Belonging to the University Scale. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 24, employing Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: The study uncovered significant reciprocal relationships between the fulfillment of needs for competence, autonomy, relatedness, individual interest, and the sense of university belonging. Furthermore, multiple regression analysis indicated that, except for individual interest, the factors of competence, autonomy, and communication significantly forecasted the students' sense of belonging to the university. Conclusion: The findings underscore the critical importance of meeting fundamental psychological needs in shaping students' sense of belonging to their university. These insights could serve as a foundation for devising effective strategies in the realm of higher education.

Abstract: 

Introduction and Research Goal: Personal branding is a procedure that individuals and their expertise are marked as commercial brands by using it. On other words, the implementation of this procedure leads to a specific sense of recognition, and a memorable and perfect feeling in the owner of the brand. Hence, the recognition of these fields for participation in competitive environments with a variety of management functions, and also turning the activities to multipurpose ones became one of the main requirements for skills development. With such a background, the present investigation aimed to investigate the Effect of Cultural Components on Personal Brand Model Based on Individual Competencies.Research Methodology: The collected data was obtained from 94 persons who owned brands in Iran in 2013 by using researcher made questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated by employing Cronbach’s alpha method, which was 0.80 The structural validity was used to check the reliability of the questionnaire, and the results validated the research tool. The data was analyzed through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), Smart PLS software and Multiple Regression (MP), and the final model was presented in this paper.Finding: According to obtaining findings from Standardized coefficients and t-statistics, total of effective cultural components had direct and significant impact on personal brand (-2.58<t<2.58 and Standardized coefficients was positive).Conclusion: The results of the present research demonstrated the proper fit of the model based on the effect of the dimensions of cultural components such as Values and beliefs, motivational patterns, lifestyles, and tolerance of ambiguity on personal brand based on individual competencies in the fields of knowledge, skill and attitude.

Abstract: 

صنعت نفت از صنایع مهم در کشور ما می باشد و نقش منابع انسانی در آن از اهمیت زیادی برخوردار است؛ در این پژوهش تلاش شده است تا نقش شایستگی های منابع انسانی به عنوان یک عامل کلیدی در موفقیت اتحادهای راهبردی فناورانه بین المللی در صنعت نفت مورد بررسی قرار گیرد؛ به همین منظور، از روش پژوهش آمیخته در این پژوهش استفاده شده است؛ پس از مطالعه ی ادبیات نظری و با استفاده از روش کتابخانه ای به بررسی اولیه ی موضوع پرداخته شده است؛ سپس با استفاده از روش پژوهش کیفی تحلیل محتوا و مصاحبه با 14 نفر از خبرگان، به استخراج مفاهیم و مقوله های اثرگذار شایستگی های منابع انسانی به عنوان عاملی در موفقیت این اتحادها پرداخته شده است. مقوله های مهم شناسایی شده در این پژوهش، شایستگی های فردی، شایستگی های میان فردی و شایستگی سازمانی می باشد. در گام بعد، پرسشنامه ای در خصوص نقش شایستگی های منابع انسانی به عنوان متغیر تعدیلگر در رابطه بین انگیزه ورود به اتحادهای راهبردی فناورانه و موفقیت اتحادها تدوین شد و در اختیار افراد صاحبنظر قرار گرفت و نتایج به دست آمده با استفاده از تحلیل های آماری و روش مدلسازی معادلات ساختاری در نرم افزار پی ال اس تحلیل شد. نتایج نشان داد شایستگی های منابع انسانی نقش تاثیرگذاری بر موفقیت اتحادها دارد.

Abstract: 

The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of personal and financial competencies on the formation of entrepreneurial intention with the mediating effect of Protection Motivation Theory (PMT). This investigation in terms of purpose is in the category of applied research and in terms of the method of data collection, it is a cross-sectional survey type. The statistical population of the research includes 282 foreign students studying in Tehran University, 183 of them were selected according to Cochran’s formula and with the purposeful sampling method available. In order to collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire was used, and to determine its validity, face, diagnostic, and convergent validity were used to determine the extracted mean variance index. In order to determine the reliability of the research tool, Cronbach’s Alpha method and composite reliability were used, and the resulting values were at the appropriate level. The findings of the research indicate that entrepreneurial competence has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention through the mediation of protective motivation, but its effect was not confirmed directly. Also, the results showed that threat assessment and entrepreneurial intention do not have a confirmed relationship, on the other hand, coping assessment has a significant relationship with entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract: 

This study is aimed to determine individual, psychological and organizational factors contribution in predicting Karaj municipality staff competence. Research methodology is descriptive and correlational where population included all staff in municipality in the 2014-2015. For research sample 300 employees were selected using stratified sampling. Designed standard questionnaire included: a) creativeness, b) Haplin & Kraft organizational climate competency assessment cite, d) Spritzer & Mishra psychological empowerment, e) Salovi & Mayer emotional intelligence & f) job motivation. Cronbach alpha coefficient for reliability testing was suitable. Regression results showed that personal characteristics couldnt predict competency significantly, and just psychological empowerment & emotional intelligence could predict employee competency significantly & organizational characteristics could predict competency significantly. One of the scientific offers obtained from this research is that the managers of Karaj municipality can increase the level of efficiency of their organization by increasing the level of employee’s competency based on the contribution and influencing each individual, psychological and organizational factors. Results of this research can use for improving employees competency.

Abstract: 

This study aimes to investigate the role of individual competencies of human resources in the behavioral intentions of guests in 4-star hotels in Mazandaran. The population of this study consists of tourists who have stayed there three times during the year 1394. According to the study situation, sampling was determined by Convenience Sampling and 247 usable questionnaires were collected. Reliability and validity of the questionnaire was approved based on Cronbach's Alpha and composite reliability and convergent validity were accepted through Confirmatory Factor analysis. To investigate the hypotheses, Pearson Correlation, Regression Analysis, method of Baron and Kenny, Sobel test and Goodman test were used. Statistical techniques were performed through SPSS23 and Lisrel8.5. The findings indicate that individual competencies of human resources affect on behavioral intentions of guests in 4-star hotels in Mazandaran province, and also, individual competencies of human resources through guests’ satisfaction and perceived value Affect on behavioral intentions of guests in 4-star hotels in Mazandaran province.
