Abstract: 

The representation of social problems in Iranian movies winning internatioal festivals awards including Cannes, Berlin & Venice film festivals has been studied. The sample is equal to population and includes 20 movies winning awards. Based on movies themes & stories, at %12/3 of the scenes, social limits on women & teen girls, & at %6/6 of the scenes, social abnormalities have been represented.13 of the movies are not related to social problems of Iran; 3 movies are related to social problems, 3 movies are related to social limits on women & 1 movie is focoused on illegal production of the music. The approach of 15 movies is critical- reformative& 3 of them are not critical- reformative. The elements of representing a dark image of Iran has been found in 3 movies too.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this research is identifying and prioritizing the index of success in marketing university books by performing different researches and examining investigation records, strategic decisions combined with marketing, have been considered as inner environmental factors and technology and time have been considered as outer environmental factors affecting work. Publishers in Tehran build up the statistical society and the statistical sample consists a number of 220 people. The selection of publishers has been performed in a simple random manner and questionnaires have been used for the collection of data. The justifiability of the questionnaires are simulative and the reliability has been approved through Cronbach's Alpha coefficient and in order to analyze the research data, solidarity coefficient of Spearman and fridman have been used. The results of the ranking of elements are respectively as follows: positioning 6.048, product 5.876, time 5.621, place5.308, technology 5.162, promotion 4.899, price 4.694, targeting 4.154, and segmentation 3.237.

Abstract: 

This paper presents normative theories of the media as a theoretical framework for the relationship between values and media for the recognition of Efaf [1] in human communication, particularly in mass communications.Moreover, the declared policy on the issue of Efaf and Hijab in the national media and the Cinema division of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance were investigated through categorization according to the Islamic standards of Efaf using the grounded theory.The results emerged from the categorization of Islamic Efaf and self-analysis and comparisons of policies indicate that although the national media policies have focused on this issue in detail, but have not fully considered all the aspects of the Islamic Efaf and policies of the cinema towards this issue have deficiency in many categories. Finally, guidelines for development of efficient and comprehensive strategies are outlined.

Abstract: 

Growing concerns regarding preserving as well as promoting the possibility of a fair and peaceful coexistence, both at national and transnational levels, has unprecedentedly increased the importance of dialogue. Accordingly, factors affecting dialogue have presumably been the subject of a number of studies. Among the given factors, the virtual social networks have great effects on all areas of the lives. This study is to investigate the effects of social networks on cross-cultural dialogues within virtual public sphere. In this framework, it is argued that although the possibility of communication and exchange of information promotes the opportunity of dialogue, it is restrictive and confounding as well. This restriction essentially arises from the uneven distribution of facilities associated with these technologies; the special status of virtual public sphere confounds the cross-cultural dialogues, as well. Indeed, virtual social networks, due to the virtual public sphere they make, can confound dialogue and cross-cultural dialogues.

Abstract: 

In the last two decades, the professional organization and operation of news agencies have been challenged and affected by 24-hour news TV channels and ever increasing web-based modern media. This has placed strong rivals before the professional operation of news agencies. In such a context, news agencies have adopted strategies to maintain status, survive, and compete as well as to be adaptable with the modern technology.Considering the necessity of employing modern technologies by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the researcher has studied the position of IRNA in production and provision of modern multi-media services in comparison with the Associated Press (AP), Press Trust of India (PTI) and Reuters.The findings of the research, carried out based on a comparative model, suggest that like the news agencies under study, IRNA shall put on its agenda the production of quality news clips, multi-media news, graphic and info-graphic services and sending news packages on mobile phones.

Abstract: 

Audience is the main purpose of any media effort which have to be encouraged and then persuaded that media sends messages in accordance with his interest and need. This study aims at studying the most important media needs of audience in watching Persian-speaking channels. 458 residents of Qaemshahr were chosen based on purposeful sampling technique. This study is a survey which incorporates a researcher-developed questionnaire. Non-parametric techniques were used to analyze the data. The findings of the study show that the participants watch entertaining and didactic programs. Moreover, there are significant differences between audiences in terms of their needs. The hierarchy of their needs is emotional, cognitive, social, and political According to descriptive findings, Most of audiences watch satellite TVs at night. On the other hand, watching satellite TVs is more common among audiences with lower education (under diploma and diploma) and decreases when the level of education increase.Watching satellite TVs is more popular among women than men. Women spend 3-4 hours per day to watch satellite TVs but men usually spend 2-3 hours per day. According to Grinner, high consuming audiences are women.

Abstract: 

One of the most important missions of mass media is enlightening public opinion and enhancing their knowledge in various fields of life.Commercial advertisement is one of the fields of mass media.The planners of mass media must observe the jurisprudential laws and ethical advices in this field and the benefit of the people in general and not to just focus on their financial benefit or the producers' or the merchants' In this article we would like to introduce some of the damages in this ground.Some of them are: deceiving the consumer, encouraging them to consume more, abusing the beauty of women for advertisement, denying the other goods or other merchandise, assuring the people (consumers) about the quality of commodity meanwhile the quality is not very high, and in brief, trying to benefit the owner of goods and not the benefit of people and consumers in general.

Abstract: 

The goal of this article is the Recognition of middle class discourses in mostafa mastoor's letters. The recognition of this discourses have examined the representation of urban middle-class life at last. In the analytical section of this article, with reference to two famous novels of this writer, it is examined the techniques of middle class life representation and using the discourse theory of laclau and mouffe, it is acknowledged the nodal points and network meaning which is produced the narratives in this two novels This study shows that the constrictive discourse of this two novels have been representing such a middle class identity which is belong to the more immense traditional and modern discourses in IRAN. Answering to the question that how much this representation are altered or deviation from the reality of modern middle class life in Iran needs to more vast and deep social and literary studies.
