Introduction: The incidence of restenosis after coronary angioplasty is one of the main concerns of heart specialists which can lead to heart bypass surgery, myocardial infarction, and death. The aim of this study was to determine the clinical factors related to the prevalence of restenosis in patients undergone angioplasty using logistic regression in patients of Zanjan city.Materials & Methods: In the present case-series study, all the patients who referred to Ayatollah Musavi hospital of Zanjan city from April 2009 till June of 2011 for angioplasty were followed-up for the occurrence of restenosis. Based on the patients’ medical records, all of the demographic and clinical data were gathered by “Data Gathering form of Patients Undergone Angioplasty”. Content validity was confirmed and its reliability was approved by Kappa test. Data was analyzed by SPSS/ 21.Findings: The prevalence of restenosis after angioplasty was estimated around 43%. According to the logistic regression model, the odds ratio of restenosis in smoking patients was 87%, in patients with unstable angina was 71% and in those who had a history of myocardial infraction was 76% more than other patients (P<0.05).Conclusion: In the present study, the effective factors of restenosis were reported as smoking, suffering from unstable angina and history of myocardial infraction. Therefore, in order to prevent the occurrence of these risk factors, it is crucial to perform regular followups of patients at risk.

Introduction: Objectives of occupational health specialists is to increase job satisfaction of the personnel and the efficiency and the accountability of the organizations. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between organizational justice and job satisfaction of nurses at educational hospitals in Shiraz between 2014 and 2015.Materials & Methods: This study is a descriptive-correlational study, which consists of all nurses that are working at Shiraz teaching hospitals. In total, 295 nurses were included based on the inclusion criteria through Morgan table. Data was collected through demographic, Nihoof & Moormans “Organizational Justice Questionnaire” and Minnesota “Job Satisfaction Questionnaire” (MSQ). Reliability of the instruments were measured by Cronbach's alpha. Data was analyzed using SPSS/19.Findings: The average score of organizational justice and job satisfaction of nurses were 87.13±15.49 and 7.13±48.49 respectively. In addition, there was a positive correlation between organizational justice and job satisfaction of nurses (p<0.001, r=0.672). Among the sub-scales of job satisfaction, only the organizational climate has a significant relation to organizational justice (p=0.049, r=0.115).Conclusion: Consequently, there was positive and direct correlation between organizational justice and job satisfaction of nurses. It is suggested that, nursing managers in all tasks, emphasis more on the organizational justice.

Introduction: Hospital Emergency Department is one of the most important parts. The most important task is to provide emergency medical services. Long time stay in the emergency department will cause dissatisfaction of patients and deaths from accidents will increase. This study aimed to determine waiting time patients in emergency ward of Kerman University of Medical Sciences.Materials & Methods: In this descriptive study, study, 375 patients referred to the teaching hospital of Kerman University of Medical Sciences were selected. Data was collected by “The Revised Form of Timing and Workflow Emergency Services” and stop watch. Validity and reliability of instruments were measured. Data was analyzed by SPSS/21.Findings: The mean waiting time, the resuscitation triage, resuscitation, emergency triage, respectively was 3.5, 133.8, 1.7and 6.8 minutes higher than the global average (p-values were<0.05). Also the semi-emergency and non-emergency triage respectively was 5.7 and 36.7 minutes lower than the global average (All p-values were<0.05).Conclusion: Waiting time to receiving emergency services in present study was higher than international standards. To reach to international standard, revising the process of patient’s services in emergency ward and also training of personnel is suggested.

Abstract:

Introduction: Health promoting behaviors are one of the determining criteria for health. Assessment of medical students’ health as a group who will be responsible for giving public-health related services to people in early future is one of the most important tasks of universities. This study was conducted to determine and compare the health promoting behaviors among nursing, midwifery and operating room students in nursing and midwifery school of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2014-2015.Materials & Methods: This descriptive-comparative study was conducted on 156 nursing, midwifery and operating room students, selected through cluster random sampling. Data collection instruments included a demographic characteristics checklist and “Health Promoting Behaviors Questionnaire” (HPLP II). Validity and reliability of the instrument were confirmed in previous studies. Data were analyzed SPSS/ 20.Findings: The mean score of health promoting behaviors in midwifery students was higher than nursing and operating room students (140.18±18.05). In addition, the higher mean score in nursing and midwifery was in domain of spiritual growth (26.33±5.06 and 27.86±5.25). In operating room students, this score was in the domain of interpersonal relationship (26.71±4.29). The mean scores of health promoting behaviors in domain of nutrition in nursing, midwifery and operating room courses were different with ANOVA test (P=0.005), while the overall mean scores of health promoting behaviors and their other domains in three courses were not significantly different. Conclusion: Despite the credibility score of health promoting behaviors of students in the three explored disciplines, the mean score of health promoting behaviors in domain of health responsibility, physical activity and stress management were low. Therefore, in order to change the behavior of students, it is worthwhile to offer educational and cultural- athletic programs in the faculties.

Introduction: Lifestyle is one of the determinants of individuals' health status and one of the main strategies to maintain healthy lifestyle. Body mass index in work environment can be used as an indicator of individual's lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of body mass index and health promotion lifestyle among healthcare workers of Saqqez city.Materials & Methods: In this descriptive- correlational study, 180 staff of health care and hospital of Imam Khomeini hospital of Saqqez in Kurdistan participated by convince sampling. Demographic questionnaire and “Health Promotion Life Style II” (HPLP-II) was used to collect data. The validity of the instrument was determined by content validity and the reliability was obtained by alpha Cronbach coefficient. Data were analyzed by SPSS/21.Findings: The mean BMI and HPLP score of staffs were 25.38±3.70, 2.68 ± 0.48 respectively. The highest score was in participants who had a normal body mass index. Analysis showed that nutrition and physical activity were the highest and the lowest score dimensions respectively. Conclusion: The mean score of health promotion lifestyle staff was desirable. However the mean of staff body mass index was not at the desirable level. Thus, physical activity as one of the health promoting behaviors is suggested.

Abstract:

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most prevalent malignancy of women in the world, including Iran. In order to diagnose the breast lesions in early stage, various medical imaging modalities are rapidly developing. The purpose of this study was to design and introduce a diagnostic software for breast lesions in breast MR mammography.Materials & Methods: This research was a software designing study that MR mammography images from 31 patients with 54 lesions were analyzed with the software designer. The designed software was in Mathlab and could evaluate morphologic and physiologic traits of lesions. Based on the evidences from this analysis, radiologist could make decision about the malignity or benignity of the lesions. The results of all lesion diagnostics were analyzed and compared in the pathologist’s report. Data were analyzed using SPSS/16.Findings: Designed software enables the present MR mammography images in colure format and analyzes them pixel by pixel. This software in addition evaluates the shape, the margin and the internal texture of mass lesions and presents their physiologic and morphologic data and assists the diagnostics of lesion. Final results of diagnostic software analysis showed 94.1% sensitivity and 85% specificity. Conclusion: Contemporary assessments of morphologic and physiologic traits of lesions by a computer aided diagnostic software can improve the radiologist’s precision and decrease reading time of bulk images of every MR mammography. Using this software to increase the accuracy of the breast lesions detection is suggested.
