Abstract: 

Introduction: Turnover intention is influenced by several factors in the organization. The current study aimed at determining the correlation between perception of performance appraisal policies, and job satisfaction and turnover intention in the staff of Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. Methods: The current descriptive-correlational study was conducted on the 693 personnel of Guilan University of Medical Sciences on the statistical population. Considering the total number of statistical population and according to the Morgan table 248, of which were selected by simple random sampling method. To collect data, the poon performance appraisal policies questionnaire and the turnover intention questionnaire developed by Longo and Mura, Jenkins and Thomlinson employee’ s intention to turnover questionnaire and Minnesota job satisfaction questionnaire were used. Validity was assessed through content validity, convergent, and divergent validity. Data were analyzed with SPSS version 19 as well as SmartPLS 2 software. Results: There was a positive and significant correlation between performance appraisal policies and job satisfaction (β = 0. 768), and negative relationship with turnover intention (β =-0. 358); in addition, there was a negative and significant relationship between job satisfaction and intention to staff turnover (β =-0. 436). Conclusions: Employee’ s perception of motivational policies of performance appraisal has a direct relationship with job satisfaction and inverse relationship with turnover intention. Also, more job satisfaction leads to a reduced employees turnover intention. Also, job satisfaction further leads to a decrease in the employee’ s turnover intention. It is suggested that authorities pay more attention to the job promotion and job opportunities in order to increase job satisfaction in the personnel.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Configuration of supply chain is considered as the highest level of decision-making, which is part of the strategic decision-making process. According to few studies on the service supply chain, the current study aimed at configuring the sustainable supply chain of health services using the fuzzy cognitive mapping method. Methods: The current research was deigned based on mixed method (quantitative and quantitative). The qualitative statistical population of the study was the hospital experts of which 18 individuals were selected by the snowball sampling method for interviewing and extraction of effective concepts on the sustainable supply chain of hospitals. In a small part of all employees of hospitals in Kerman, Iran, 414 individuals were selected as the quantitative samples using random sampling method. The sustainable supply chain questionnaire in hospital was made by the author and exploratory factor analysis was used to identify the concepts of 15 main factors designed with fuzzy cognitive mapping method to quantitatively configure the sustainable supply chain. SPPS version 18, EXCEL, PAJEK, and FCMAPPER were employed in the current study. Results: The effective measure on the sustainable supply chain comprised of 60 concepts in the form of 15 main factors. Based on 15 concepts, the configuration of the sustainable supply chain was designed. The results showed that service delivery management with 4. 19 degrees has the highest centrality and attention to the environment with 0. 99 degrees has the lowest centrality among other factors. Conclusions: Service delivery management has a high impact on sustainable supply chain in hospitals. Therefore, it is recommended that hospital officials focus on service delivery management factors and manage it to reach a more sustainable supply chain.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Social participation is one of the most important concepts in diseases. Considering the complications of phenylketonuria and the role of mothers as one of the family members, this study aimed at comparing the social participation of mothers of children with phenylketonuria and mothers of healthy children in Hamadan. Methods: In this descriptive-comparative study, 65 mothers with phenylketonuria and 122 healthy mothers in Hamedan in during year 2016 participated. Convenience samples were selected from mothers with phenylketonuria and simple sampling was used to select from mothers of healthy children. The instruments used included demographic information and the questionnaire of “ Social Participation Factors of Woman” . Reliability of the questionnaire was obtained by the test-retest method and with intra-class correlation. Data was analyzed using SPSS 23 software. Results: Social participation in 98. 5% of mothers was at a moderate level and in 1. 5% it was satisfactory. Social participation in mothers of phenyl ketoneuria children with healthy mothers was statistically significant (P = 0. 043). There was a significant correlation between the level of education and social participation of mothers of phenylketonuria children (P = 0. 045), yet the effect of income variables, marital status, and gender of the child and the child of phenylketonuria had no significant effect on the social participation of mothers (P > 0. 05). The social participation of mothers of phenylketonuria children was low. It is suggested that rehabilitation and psychological interventions should be included to promote the level of social participation of mothers alongside the children's treatment plan. Conclusions: Social partnerships for mothers of phenyl ketanoric children was at a low level. Abstract: 

Introduction: The analysis of classified data in statistics and medical sciences is very important. If the binary response variable is misclassified, the results of fitting the model, will be skewed with false interpretation. The aim of this study was the application of logistic regression with misclassified variables in diabetes data. Methods: In this descriptive study, data from 819 participants in the diabetes screening program at Zahedan Health Center in 2014 were used. Type 2 diabetes was studied in two ways. At first, by testing normal blood glucose (without fasting), the lack of correlation between type 2 diabetes and blood pressure was determined by logistic regression and odds ratios, and then a fasting blood glucose test was used for validation, which revealed significant results. False classification was considered based on the level of blood glucose due to low sensitivity and specificity of blood glucose test. To correct the classification error, the likelihood ratio method was used to estimate the coefficients. Data analysis was done using the software SAS version 9. 1. 3 and procedure NLMIXED with a significance level of 0. 05. Results: The correlation coefficient changed the odds ratio of diabetes in the blood pressure variable from 0. 227 to 1. 20, significantly (P < 0. 001). In addition, other model variables were modified. Conclusions: Logistic regression for data with error classification can be used as a suitable method for analyzing data with classification error. Validation using logistic regression for classification error data showed that high blood pressure has a significant effect on diabetes. It is suggested that the logistic regression method should be used in order to correct the odds ratio in view of the probability of classification error in the screening data.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Coronary artery disease is the most common cardiovascular disease that results in death, disability, and the imposition of many economic costs on the society and humans. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of probability of coronary artery bypass graft based on perceived stress, spiritual intelligence, Islamic lifestyle and social support in patients referred to Vali-e-Asr Hospital of Qom. Methods: The study was descriptive-correlational and was performed on 122 patients (69 patients and 53 healthy individuals), who were voluntarily selected from Vali-e-Asr Hospital of Qom, and were diagnosed with obstruction or had no obstruction. Angiographic results were reviewed. In order to collect data, “ Perceived Stress Scale” , “ Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support” , "Islamic Life Style Test", and "Integrated Spiritual Intelligence Scale" questionnaire were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22 software. Results: The results of the logistic regression analysis showed that with increasing the score of people in the variable of perceived social support and spirituality, the risk of coronary artery bypass graft decreased. By increasing the individual's score in perceived stress, the risk of coronary artery bypass graft increased (P < 0. 001). There was no significant correlation between lifestyle and the risk of coronary artery occlusion (P > 0. 001). Conclusions: There was a correlation between perceived stress, spiritual intelligence and social support and the probability of coronary artery bypass grafting. Therefore, it is suggested that patients with coronary artery bypass grafts participate in educational workshops to enhance spiritual intelligence and stress relief.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Divorce is considered as one of the most harmful phenomena in society, which can cause many psychological and behavioral problems. Hence, the way to manage such problems, deal with them, and tolerate them plays an important role in the mental health of divorced people. The current study aimed at comparing the coping strategies and resiliency between divorced and nondivorced females in Karaj, Iran. Methods: The current descriptive-comparative study was conducted on all divorced and nondivorced females in Karaj as the statistical population of the study of which 100 divorced and 100 non-divorced subjects were selected by the convenience sampling method based on the inclusion criteria. The data were collected by Billings and Moos coping strategies questionnaire and Connor-Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC). Validity and reliability of the instruments were confirmed in previous studies. Data were analyzed with SPSS version 22. Results: There was a significant difference in problem-oriented coping strategies, excitement, and resiliency between the two groups of divorced and non-divorced females (P < 0. 05). In addition, non-divorced females in resiliency variables and problematic coping strategies, and divorced females in excitement coping strategies got higher scores (P < 0. 05). Conclusions: Divorced females show less resilience and higher excitement coping strategies. Therefore, implementation of an intervention program is suggested to reduce psychological problems, increase resilience, and improve coping strategies in divorced females.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Human resources is one of the most important assets of the organization. The current study aimed at determining the correlation of cultural capital with self-development attitude in the employees of the health care network in Darehshar, Iran. Methods: The present study descriptive-correlational study was conducted on 350 employees of the Darehshar Health Care Network. The sample size consisted of 184 employees selected randomly by Morgan table. To collect data, the cultural capital and the attitude toward self-development questionnaires were used. Data were analyzed with SPSS version 21 Results: There is a positive and significant correlation between the cultural capital and self-development attitude (α = 0. 01, r = 0. 462), embodied cultural capital and self-development attitude (α = 0. 01, r = 0. 268), and the objective cultural capital and self-development attitude (α = 0. 01, r = 0. 467). There is also a positive and significant correlation between the institutional capital and self-development attitude (α = 0. 01, r = 0. 32). Conclusions: The development of cultural capital in the organization increases the attitude of employees toward improving their knowledge and skills. It is suggested that healthcare network managers provide reinforced mechanisms to enhance the cultural capital of employees and provide them with the basics of self-development attitudes.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The responsibility of Maried students and their marital satisfaction are affected by various factors. The current study aimed at determining the correlation of self-differentiation and optimism with marital satisfaction and responsibility in nursing students of the Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz, Ahvaz, Iran. Methods: The current descriptive, correlational study was conducted on 158 married nursing students at Ahvaz Islamic Azad University selected by simple random sampling method from the target population. Data were collected by the differentiation of self inventory developed by Skowron and Friedlander, responsibility multidimensional questionnaire based on Islamic texts, attributional style questionnaire, and marital satisfaction questionnaire. Reliability and validity of these questionnaires were confirmed in previous studies. Data were analyzed with SPSS version 22. Results: There was a canonical correlation (0. 71) between predictor variables and criteria variables. Also, from the predicting variables, self-differentiation and from the criterion variables, responsibility had the largest share in predicting the variables. Conclusions: There was a significant correlation of self-differentiation and optimism with the responsibility and marital satisfaction of nursing students. Therefore, considering the importance of marital satisfaction and responsibility in nursing students, training workshops are essential to promote their differentiation and optimism.
