The present study aimed to investigate relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior orientation, and also to determine relative contribution of emotional intelligence domains (regulation of emotion, utilization of emotion and appraisal of emotion) in anticipating organizational citizenship behavior orientation. Research method was descriptive-correlative and statistical population consists of 980 high school teachers in Zanjan, 278 of whom were selected randomly according to Morgan´s table, considering the share of each category. To collect data, two questionnaires were used: 1) the Schutteet al. Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (1998) and 2) Moghimi's organizational citizenship behavior questionnaire (2005). Findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and its domains with organizational citizenship behavior orientation. Likewise, findings showed that domains of emotional intelligence (regulation of emotion, utilization of emotion and appraisal of emotion) predict organizational citizenship behavior orientation.

This research study was aimed at finding relationship between participation in managerial decision- making and the maturity of faculty members. Data were collected using two separate questionnaires on participation in managerial decision-making and maturity level of academic staff.Results revealed a positive relation between participation of faculty members in managerial decision making and their maturity level.

This study addressed two research questions: (1) what are general educational needs of secondary school teachers from the viewpoint of teachers and administrators? (2) Are there any differences between the viewpoint of teachers and administrators? The research method was descriptive and Delphi method was used to collect data required for needs assessment.Results indicated that the priority of needs as viewed by was as follows: 1) familiarity with methods and techniques of teaching; 2) Familiarity with classroom management; 3) skills to use educational multi-media; 4) Increased information and scientific knowledge on subject matters; 5) Familiarity with methods of evaluation and assessment of student learning. With regard to second question, the findings indicated that there was no difference between viewpoint of teachers and that of administrators.

This paper examined relationship between knowledge management strategies and organizational performance relying on a theory borrowed from economics. The empirical part of the study is based on data on KM strategies and organizational performance collected from a sample of 131 Iranian firms. Results suggested three types of relationship among KM strategies: noncomplementary and non-critical symmetric complementary and asymmetrical complementary. Integrating explicit and tacit KM strategies results in a non-complementary one leading to a higher level of organizational performance. Analysis of KM strategies based on KM source showed that companies could benefit from both inward and outward KM strategies.Combining tacit and explicit KM strategies leads to a complementary relationship, which reflects synergistic effects of KM strategies on performance.

The purpose of present research was to examine relationship between organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational climate. A stratified random sample of employees in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology participated in this study. A five point Likert type scale was used for data collection. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equations Modeling (SEM). Results suggested that organizational citizenship behavior has a significant relationship with organizational climate. Further, the model can assess organizational climate in the population in question.

This study explored professional needs of faculty members at public universities and the Islamic Azad University (IAU). Data were collected using a five-point check list. Results indicated that academics at IAU needed to learn more about Windows software, conference presentation in English, and principles of effective communications. On the other hand, academics in public universities needed to learn more about academic writing in English, delivering speech in English, planning principles, effective communications, lesson plan preparation, and SPSS.

This study examined relationship between educational factors and dropout in boy's middle schools. A questionnaire was administered to a stratified random sample of middle school students in district 4 of Qom province.Results indicated that there was a relationship between educational factors and dropout of students.Also there was a relationship between reward and punishment, low attention to individual differences, and inappropriate learning environment with dropout of students.
