Abstract: 

Productivity growth in each industry is one of the important factors for managers which may have strong influence on the decisions and policies. On the other hand, sometimes we are faced with some conditions that their influence in the industry is inevitable, therefore, using an exact mathematical model to measure it as a prerequisite for presenting guidelines, proper policies and promoting productivity, seems to be necessary. This paper measures total factor productivity growth of 14 regional electricity companies since the end of the fourth development plan (1388) to start the fifth year (1389) with regard to sanctions reviewing electrical industry which has a special role in the energy sector in the country. For this purpose, the indices of these companies have been developed as inputs and outputs and the extended Malmquist index including components of pure efficiency change (PEC), scale efficiency change (SEC), balanced factor change (BFC) and extended technology change (ETC) will be used. The results will make appropriate analysis tools for managers in order to decision support and providing guidelines in accordance with the Companies conditions related to each mentioned components.

Abstract: 

In this paper, an AC/DC microgrid is proposed to reduce processes of multiple reverse conversions in the AC or DC microgrids and to facilitate the connection of the AC and DC energy resources and loads. Beside, according to the research the control of the voltage and frequency is a very important issue in the microgrids. Therefore, control schemes studied in this paper, are developed and published in order to improve the voltage and frequency stability of the microgrid operated in the stand-alone (islanded) mode. Results are achieved considering short-circuit fault and the uncertainty of the generators and loads verifying the correctness, accuracy and robustness of the controllers to stabilize and restore quickly the voltage and frequency of the proposed microgrid due to these disturbances.

Abstract: 

Accurate load forecasting becomes more and more important for all market participants in competitive electricity markets, which can maximize producers’ profits and consumers’ utilities, respectively. The optimal profit is determined by applying a perfect price forecast. A load forecast with a less prediction errors, yields maximum profits for market players. The numerical electricity load forecasting is high in forecasting errors of various approaches. However, electricity load is a complex signal due to its nonlinearity, non-stationary, and time variant behavior. In spite of much research in this area, more accurate and robust price forecast methods are still required. In this paper, a new hybrid forecast technique based on feature selection technique, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) model is proposed for load forecasting. The feature selection method is an improved version of the mutual information (MI) technique. The superiority of this proposed method is examined by using the data acquired from New England market. Empirical results show that this proposed method performs better than some of the other price forecast techniques.

Abstract: 

Considering the advantages of an expert system as a subset of artificial intelligence for simulating the behavior of an expertise in how to suggest a solution and moreover particular importance of statistical process control in the manufacturing industry, in this paper in addition to investigate the expert system (ES), a new expert system for statistical process control (ESSPC) has been developed. The specific features of this system can be counted as recognition of the critical process and critical characteristic quality besides of other domains of the system, as specification of control chart, type of control chart, sampling, process stability, process capability, process improvement and corrective actions.The other significant feature of this system is extracting about 124 rules of different sources as the abstracted knowledge in various domains. This system has been created by VP Expert software .In order to evaluate of the validity, this system is implemented in several process of manufacturing industry and the results show the efficiency of the system.

Abstract: 

A group of energy resources distributed in the network which are placed under a unified and integrated management with a central control system is called a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). Electromechanical storage units composing VPP may provide arbitrage opportunities in power market. This paper proposes a new mathematical approach based on a comprehensive model for arbitrage of a VPP in power markets. In our proposed model network topology, VPP constraints and network constraints are considered. The method determines the amount of energy and reserve that should be bought or sold in day-ahead markets, commitment of distributed energy resources, charge or discharge status of storage units and the amount of load curtailments. By applying the proposed model to a case study, different arbitrage opportunities for VPP in power market are investigated.

Abstract: 

This paper studies the impact of setting electric power market on efficiency of the Power Plants in Iran. Doing so, we have calculated and compared the efficiencies of many selected power plants concerning 2003 and 2009. The analytical tools used here have been Data Envelop Analysis technique used by Malamquist efficiency index. The results indicate that the average changes in efficiency index including the weight coefficient and without it for combined cycle and gas turbine power plants were reduced in 2009. Also the index for steam power plants in 2009 was increased. Therefore, that the establishment of the electric power market has positive impact on efficiency of steam power plants but negative effects on other plants efficiency.

Motivation of human capital management issues and concepts in the writings of many of the incentives proposed by different scientists have been discussed. Effective management of human resources, organizational theorists believe the key to success and the rapid movement of organizations toward technology as a vital and strategic role of human agency is further considered. This issue is more important and intriguing because of the nature of the project in employee motivation or incentive for these organizations to reduce their ability to demonstrate creativity and does not create. This study intends to identify factors influencing satisfaction with the use of statistical methods and techniques to provide guidelines for improving job satisfaction. The results show that job security and surveillance activities director on staff can be effective in increasing job satisfaction.
