Abstract: 

The present research was studied the effectiveness of training coping skills with negative mood on anxiety and stress of high school students in kashan city. The research method was experimental and the research design was pre-test and post-test with a control group. The population of the study included  all second grade high school boy students in the academic year in 2014-2013 and the sample included 30 students selected randomly and were assigned randomly in two groups (experimental and control). The data collected by Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS). The obtained data were analyzed using analysis of covariance by SPSS software. The results showed a significant difference between the two groups in terms of both variables. In other word, there were significant different in control and experimental group in anxiety and stress variable. The findings of this study indicate that training coping skills with negative mood, reduces anxiety and stress in students.

Abstract: 

The general purpose of this study was to Causal Model of quality of campus community, educational and social integrity and educational and Student’s Academic burnout of Shiraz university student. Statistical population of this study consists of Shiraz University in the 1391-92 academic years that 289 students were selected with stage cluster sampling method. Research tools was College and University Community Inventory, Academic Burnout Questionnaire, Educational Integrity Questionnaire and Social Integrity Subscale of College Students Experiment Questionnaire that were analyzed after calculating their validity and reliability between the sample distribution and data by spss16 and lisrel 8.54 soft ware’s. The results of this study showed that, the quality of campus community is the negative and significant predictor of the Student’s Academic burnout. The quality of campus community is the positive and significant predictor of the Student’s social and educational integrity. Social and educational integrity by controlling the quality of campus community is the negative and significant predictor of the student’s academic burnout. Educational and social integrity has a mediator role in the relations between the quality of campus community and Student’s Academic burnout.

Abstract: 

Theaim of the present study was to develop the short form of Goldberg’s 50-item personality scale and to examine the psychometric properties of it among university students. Five hundred university students studying at Shiraz University were recruited using random cluster sampling method. To examine the validity of the instrument, factor analysis was used. Moreover, in order to yield the reliability of the instrument Chronbach alpha was utilized. The results of the factor analysis yielded five-factor structure. Chronbach alpha coefficients of the Big Five factors of personality ranged from 0.69 to 0.83. It was concluded that the short form of Goldberg’s 50-item personality scale is a self-report instrument that is applied in research works and has good validity and reliability in Iranian population.

Abstract: 

The research purpose was to examine the psychometric properties of the Kinship Center Attachment Questionnaire (KCAQ) of Latency-Aged for Children. The research method was descriptive-validation through development and validation of an instrument. The sample consisted of 400 children were selected by multi-stage cluster random sampling method. Measuring instruments were the Kinship Center Attachment Questionnaire (KCAQ), Maternal Emotional Styles Questionnaire (MESQ), and Strength and Difficult Questionnaire (SDQ). Data analysis was done using SPSS and Amos software’s version 16. The scale was assessed using factor analysis and principle component method (KMO=0.73). In total, analysis approved the results of exploratory factor analysis based on the varimax rotation. In addition, this model was found fit with the data. The KCAQ demonstrated high internal consistency. A re-administration of the measure 1 month later yielded high correlation (P<0.001). Pearson’s correlation between KCAQ, MESQ, SDQ and were respectively this four factors accounted for 48.72% of the total variance. Confirmative factor analysis confirming their convergent, divergent and concurrent validity. Results of this study showed Persian version of KCAQ has good psychometrics particularity in measuring for child’s attachment in latency-aged.

Abstract: 

Self awareness is one the most essential bases of education. The concept of “self” as a topics of anthropology, is also, a fundamental concept in psychology, especially humanism approach. Islamic mysticism which has been rooted in Islamic original teachings is a school that focuses on self and self -awareness. The main aim of the present study is to compare the concept of self between humanistic psychology and Islamic mysticism perspectives With this aim, at first the views Maslow and Rogers as the principal representatives of humanistic psychology and the views of Najmuddin Razi and Azizuddin Nasaffi as the representatives of Islamic Sufism are studied and then the similarities and differences of these views in terms of the concept of “self”. This study was a qualitative kind that was done by the Comparative method. The results show although there are some differences between two approaches, but also, we can find many similarities about self and self -awareness between them and there is a possibility for constructive dialogue between them.

Abstract: 

This study aimed to investigate the future of identity styles (normative informational, and confused - avoidance) through five NEO personality traits and perfectionism (positive and negative) were performed. The study population included students at Tehran University in the academic year 91-90, so the study sample included 110 students were selected by cluster sampling and Identity Style Inventory, the NEO Personality Inventory, and perfectionism scale were completed. To investigate the hypothesis, Pearson correlation and regression analysis were used. The multiple regression analyses revealed that agreement, openness and conscientiousness (different dimensions of NEO personality trait) predict the informational identity style. Also the result of multiple regression analysis showed that conscientiousness can predict the informational identity style. Other findings showed that there is significant negative relationship between confused - avoidance identity style with the personality trait of openness agreement. Also there were significant negative relationships among negative perfectionism variables with informational and normative identity style.

Abstract: 

The aim of the present study was Explain the difference of Behavioral disorders, social skills, family process, family content, creativity and intelligence of Popular and unpopular children who are 4 to 6 years in Shiraz. The sample of the study consisted of 187 children. Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), wineland social skills scale, Torrance Visual Creativity questionnaire, Wechsler Intelligence Scale test and family context and content were used in this study. All used instruments were valid and reliable. The results of independent t-test showed significant differences in all aspects of social skills, behavioral disorders, family content and family process, intelligence and creativity between popular and unpopular children. In Sum, the result revealed that psychologically and socially there are significant differences between popular and unpopular students.
