Abstract: 

  The present study investigates the relationship of the professional commitment, organizational sociability and whistleblowing intention among management students in Qazvin province. This research in terms of purpose is applied and in terms of data collection is descriptive - analytical. The statistical society in this consisted of 820 management students in Qazvin province. The sample size using stratified random sampling method and Cochran formula were estimated 86 people. The required data and information in this study are related to the year 2015-2016 that a researcher made questionnaire was used to collect them. Validity of questionnaire by a panel of experts and its reliability by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.85) were evaluated. For investigate the relationship of the professional commitment, organizational sociability and whistleblowing intention among management students from regression analysis method with approach ordinary least squares (OLS) and hypothesis testing were used. The estimated coefficients for professional commitment and sociability of management students, respectively 0.129 and – 0.721 were calculated. The results showed that the professional commitment variable has not significant effect on the whistleblowing intention of management students in the level of 0.05 (P< 0.05), but organizational sociability variable has a negative and significant effect on this variable (whistleblowing intention). This means that an increase in sociability between management students lead to decrease in the whistleblowing by them. F-statistic and coefficient of determination (R2) amounts respectively 12.01 and 0.723 were estimated that shows the analysis of variance that shows the analysis of variance meaningful and a good conducted estimate.

Abstract: 

Family is one of the social institutions where the roles and role expectations are of great importance. In Iranian urban families, members play significant roles in relation to each other, and the expectations of each member of the role played by the other is also worthy of consideration. The multiple, and often ultimately conflicting, roles of the parents on the one hand, and the transition of urban families from tradition to modernity, on the other, have pushed the expectations of the parents of their roles away from what their children expect of their parents. The present field study is cross-sectional, extensive and practical in nature. The instrument used is a researcher-made questionnaire to collect the required data from the interviewees. The research population were all the families living in the 22 municipality districts of Tehran (2, 597, 731 families based on the 2011 census). The results show a significant difference between the parents and their children in level of education and attitudes towards innovation, individualism, and the generation gap. There is also evidence for the effect of the family’s socio-economic status on creation of a generation gap. There is also the effect of the children’s educational level on the formation of the gap. Parents and their children also differ in their observance of religious traditions and rites including prayer and fasting.

Abstract: 

Health socialization allows individual to learn norms, values, skills, attitudes and patterns of thought and action in order to make optimal decision of health behaviors, all of which are essential for social life. Primary health socialization make people familiar with the primary practical and applied concepts of health and take care of oneself. The results of socialization of health behavior is health literacy skill. The aim of this research is sociological study of the role of the family in health socialization and uses sociological and medical approaches and theories, so it have tried to achieve scientific knowledge about it. From this perspective, after reviewing the conceptual space of the subject from the theory relating to the subject with respect to interdisciplinary nature of the subject, it has been used the theories of sociology, medical sociology and social psychology to explain the subject, and as well as the assumptions from which these theories have been obtained, attempted sociological study of the role of the family in health socialization. Required information and data were collected using the survey method and using a questionnaire technique on 608 heads of households in Shiraz city through a multistage cluster sampling with 0.05 error level and 0.95 percent confidence coefficient. The results obtained from data analysis and multivariate regression indicate that variables of family social awareness, cultural capital, health literacy, family sensitivity to health issues, access to communication means, parenting style and structure of family value influence on promoting health socialization, i.e. seven independent variables could explain 42 percent of health socialization variance.

Abstract: 

The present paper is an attempt to estimate the impact of social development indicators on economic growth in Iran, and study the relationship between social development indicators such as population that looking for work, health (life expectancy) and education (costs made in the education sector)) In addition to economic indicators (exports, investment) and economic growth in the period of 1996- 2014. The result of this research is as bellow: First; increases in social development indicators enhance the economic growth. Such that one percent increase in social development cause to 3.5 percent increase in economic growth. Secondly, the high impact of population that looking for work and life expectancy on economic growth show that economic investment and health investment on population has the most effect on economic growth.

Abstract: 

One of the important subjects in study of social changes in developing countries is the condition of intergenerational relationships. That is why Identify tools and fields which enforce such process can be provide better relationships between generation in a given society and result the continuation and preservation of culture and civilization. Changes in the pattern of leisure spending as a criterion of lifestyle are one of these platforms. It has the relationships with changes in intergenerational relationships. Due to informal and selective nature of leisure time, transformation of values takes place informally. It seems that development as an indicator of progress of a given society has the relation with the type of intergenerational relationships as well as leisure pattern. The main objective of this article is to find out the relationship between level of development of province and leisure time pattern and intergenerational relationships. Manheim and Inglehart theories on value changes are applied. Survey method with 1200 sample from three groups of developed (Tehran, Isfahan), developing (Kerman, Zangan) and deprived (Sistan and Baluchestan, Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad) provinces are randomly interviewed. Results show collective active leisure pattern spending with family are the main and first pattern of collective leisure among respondents. With increase in province level of development, collective active leisure pattern with family reduced and new leisure pattern i.e. virtual vacation increased. Intergenerational relationships have the relation with level of development and in deprived provinces such relation are stronger.

Abstract: 

Every year, many developmental, social and cultural plans are implemented in which citizens have a more or less prominent role. However, the role of citizens and their participation should be promoted to accelerate the implementation of plans and promote the social approach adopted by municipalities. Therefore, the present status of public participation and methods of its promotion should be investigated. The purpose of the research is to evaluate the actual participation of Tehran citizens in urban management plans and develop an operational model to promote public participation. The study is a descriptive one in which the data were collected by a mixed research method, i.e. both qualitative and quantitative. Based on Cochran’s sample size formula, the sample size is estimated to be 384. The first phase of the survey is completed by distributing a questionnaire between residents of the 13 neighborhoods in district eight in Tehran. The results indicate that almost 60 percent of all the plans implemented by departments and units of the municipality have included public participation; however, inconsistency and changes in priorities have caused a reduction in continued participation. Furthermore, the unclear definition of the role of Support Councils and Neighborhood Houses (Sara-ye Mahalleh) has resulted in ineffective public participation. The results indicate that if citizens are made well aware of the measures taken by urban management, they will cooperate more to have them implemented. The suggestions provided at the end of the research are meant to increase public participation and overcome the obstacles identified.

Abstract: 

Today, urban transportation and its effects and consequences, in addition to the physical and environmental spheres, are problematic in the social and cultural spheres, as it has more complex dimensions in the metropolitan cities of developing countries. Thus, considering that Tehran city as the largest metropolis faces a population density and massive volume of transportation and transportation inside and outside the city, and also the technical and infrastructural aspect has been dramatically increased in recent years, but still the consequences and transport implications in environmental and health areas, is one of the most important issues in Tehran. Given the importance of this matter, the central issue of the present study is whether the social dimension of urban transport and the strengthening of this dimension has an impact on social development. In this regard, the argument is that strengthening the social dimension of urban transport as social capital, leads to the formation of social development in the city. In order to study and analyze this issue using the documentary and library research method and using the theoretical analysis tool and its analysis, we try to investigate the concepts of social dimensions of urban transportation and social development, the role of social dimension of urban transportation in social capital and, consequently, the formation of social development based on theoretical implications. The findings of the study show that in a broad conceptual dimension, social development, namely, the improvement of the human condition, which strengthen social security indicators, social participation, education and culture, and social identity, in order to reduce the social damage to urban transportation spaces action and it leads to the creation of social capital and the final product of this process is the formation of social development in the city, and as a result, social capital as a social dimension of urban transport plays an important role in the social development of Tehran.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to identify the leverage points of its organizational culture with an approach of reforming the work ethics and designing its development model and its transformation into governmental organizations of Golestan province. The type of research is qualitative and research method is grounded theory. The statistical population of the study consists of 17 experts of governmental organizations in Golestan province. The data are gathered using interviews and information required for research. The findings are carried out in three stages: 1. open coding, 2. Axial coding, 3.Selective coding. The finding show that 73 concepts are extracted from the interviews and divided into 7 main categories around the work ethics. The result of the research show that the first category, the strategic approach to the reform of work ethics, (0.600), the second category, the management of the values of the organization (0.446); the third category, the management of the change (0.505); the fourth category, The transformational leadership (0.729); the fifth category the sponsoring staff (0.618); the sixth category, The knowledge and information management (0.730); and the seventh category, the proportional organization (0.664), each one has the highest and the least coefficient of path toward the consequences of reforming work ethics.
